Arts Dakota
Focusing exclusively on North Dakota artists, Arts Dakota showcases many of the state's finest creative personalities, both professional and amateur. Visitors to the exhibit will be able to view visual artworks and read stories as well as listen to songs and see video clips. James Memorial Center is located at 621 First Avenue West in Williston. Citizens Police Academy
The Williston Police Department is accepting applications for its third annual Citizens Police Academy. Applications can be picked up and turned in at the police department desk on the second floor of the Williston Law Enforcement Center. The course will be held for 10 weeks on Tuesdays from 7-9:30 pm. Applications are due by February 26th. Class size is limited to 20.

Private Pesticide Recertification & Certification
If you are a private pesticide applicator and you wish to maintain your certification, this training is for you. If you have never been certified or if you left your certification lapse, this training is for you. Registration begins at 12:45 p.m. Training begins at 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., upstairs at the Raymond Family Community Center, Williston, North Dakota, in conjunction with the KUMV-TV Farm & Ranch Trade Show. "Craft Country" Spring Arts and Crafts

Williston Sport and Recreation Show
Various business' display their outdoor products such as campers, boats,marine accessories, camping and hunting gear, fishing tackle, lodges, resorts and tourist attractions. Entertainment and speakers for the whole family perform at various times throughout the weekend. Admission for adults is $3.00, children 12 and under are free.

The a cappella group InPulse will be performing at 7:00 p.m. in the WHS Auditorium. Tickets are $10.00, or $30.00 for a family. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Upper Missouri Camera Club & Williston Area Woodworkers Annual Show
Members of UMCC submit photographs for judging and also offer a separate photo competition open to the public. Photos will be displayed in the gallery and a slide show will be presented in Center Stage. The Woodworkers will display their designs in the Green Room. Viewing hours are 11am-5pm on Saturday and Sunday, and 8am-8pm Tuesday through Friday.

Mosaic Stepping Stones
A lesson in the ancient art form of Mosaic using small pieces of colored glass, stone or tile set in grout to create colorful pictures. The class will be making garden stepping stones. Held March 23rd, 25th, 30th, and April 1st from 6:30-8:30 pm at Stevens Hall, Room 217. Cost for class is $169.00. Pre-registration is required a week prior to start date. Entertainment Inc! Presents "Boeing Boeing"
Bernard is a Parisian architect who is happily engaged...to three different women! All three of Bernard's fiances are flight attendants from different corners of the world. When a newer, faster Boeing jet threatens to ruin his well laid plan, Bernard must enlist the help of his friend Robert and his housekeeper Bertha to keep all three women from bumping into each other. This turbulent afternoon leaves Bernard looking for the emergency exit and the audience rolling in the aisles! For tickets and more information, call 577-3179.

Easter Egg Hunt at the Confluence
The Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center and the Trenton Volunteer Fire Department will hold a special Easter Egg Hunt at 11 a.m. CT. This special community event will offer children the chance to chase down those elusive Easter Eggs at the Confluence. The children will also be able to win a number of great prizes and enjoy the educational opportunities of the MYCIC exhibits. The event is free and open to the public.

Make A Wish Foundation Bowling Fun Day
There are two shifts, one at 11 am and one at 3 pm. Includes a silent auction. Four people to a team. Open to anyone who likes to bowl, and for a great cause! All proceeds will go to the Make A Wish Foundation of North Dakota!

12th Annual "Power Within" Martial Arts Open
Held at Williston Middle School. All styles are welcome and encouraged to attend. Interested competitors should contact Rich or Ann Breslin at 572-1973 or 774-2005. Registration is at 8:30 a.m., with the event starting at 10:30 a.m. Anyone is welcome to watch. Door charge will be $3.00 for adults, $2.00 for students, and children 6 and under free. This event is sponsored by the Williston High School "Power Within" Martial Arts team.

Attend this class and you'll learn 11 strategies to save money on this year's taxes. GEARING UP FOR KINDERGARTEN
FREE kindergarten readiness program for parents and their children who will enter kindergarten in the fall of 2010. FREE childcare and family meal included. Dinner with your choice of a Taco-in-a-Bag or Hot Dogs/Chips will be served from 5:30-6:30 p.m. The auction begins at 6:30 p.m. Proceeds will be used to purchase classroom enhancements and playground equipment.

Homebuyer Education
This two night event will take place at Williston State College Room 106 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. This event will be held only once in 2010. Participants will be lead through the homebuying process and will be instructed by lenders, insurance agents, attorney and an appraiser. Topics to be covered include: Shopping for a home, budgeting and credit report, loan application process, appraisal process, homeowner's insurance, title work and the closing process.

Paddlefishing the Confluence
The MYCIC will celebrate the opening of the paddlefish season at the Confluence with special opportunities for anglers and others. The center will also offer for sale a limited number of one-of-a-kind hats and long-sleeve t-shirts that celebrate paddlefishing at the Confluence. All of the events are free and open to the public. A fun-filled event! There is a 5k road race, a parade, special games, craft and food vendors, and family entertainment throughout the day.

Indian Arts Showcase
The Indian Arts Showcase will feature special presentations by members of the tribes from the upper Missouri Valley. There will be traditional Native American singing and dancing groups performing, as well Native Artisans displaying traditional arts such as beadwork, quillwork, hide work, pipe making, and drums. Additional activities for visitors include traditional Indian games, learning Indian sign language and use of traditional paints.
