Chamber Networking Opportunities
Networking is more than just a buzz word, it is the necessary skill that leads to new relationships and new customers. Networking isn't about the quantity of contacts you make; it's about the quality of relationships you enjoy.
The Chamber offers many networking opportunities to our members. In addition to working shoulder to shoulder on projects, attending Sunny Side Breakfasts, or being a valuable part of an action team, we offer strategic opportunities to network.
The Chamber Coffee Connection is generally held the third Thursday of each month at a Chamber business that wants to get to know you, in addition to your knowing more about them, their products, services and mission. We meet promptly at 10:00 a.m. for a half hour or less - learn, network, and enjoy a morning refreshment.
Business After Hours is held on an as-requested basis. A Chamber member business may want to invite fellow members to an open house, a presentation, or a social event with the express purpose of meeting and networking with fellow Chamber members in a relaxed setting after business hours. These are special events; visit with the Executive Director about what makes for a success networking atmosphere.
The Chamber hosts 12 @ 12 quarterly. Twelve members are invited to join us for lunch in the Chamber board room to network with other area business people, our executive director and a board member, in a relaxed setting.
People trust other people they know. Why? Because "getting to know you" takes a long time. This approach to business reveals integrity and it reveals patience. People who have made that kind of investment in you are usually worthy of your trust. They're the kinds of people who can refer their friends to you -- and you're glad to make the new acquaintance, because you are all part of the same “circle,” your Chamber of Commerce.
