Annual Chamber Banquet
Once every year in January, Chamber members gather for a remarkable evening of fun, food, and fellowship. Guests are treated to meaningful ambiance, wine and caviar, a fine meal, and engaging entertainment.
Several prestigious awards are presented. Most notable is the Western Star Award, which is presented to an individual living in the Williston area who is recognized by his/her peers for promoting Williston as a great city in which to live and work. This individual exemplifies a positive attitude toward our city and is recognized for his/her constant efforts to promote our people and resources.
Other awards include the Police Department Employee of the Year, the CEAD Award (CEAD: Committee on the Employment and Advancement of People with Disabilities), and the Community Spirit Award for outstanding volunteerism.
Introductions of the newly seated Chamber board of directors take place, and a generous flurry of door prizes round out the event.
