Live Art Auction & BBQ
12:30 PM - 3:00 PM
The James Memorial Art Center
621 1st Ave West
A Live Art Auction featuring art donated for Art Fest, since Art Fest was rained out this year, will be held on Sunday, October 20th starting at 1:00 p.m. We have some amazing art pieces up for auction from artists all around ND. In conjunction with the auction, the James is also having a BBQ to benefit the Paranormal Investigators of North Dakota, or PIND starting at 12:30 p.m. PIND is a group of amazing people that investigate paranormal activity all over, but mainly in ND. Unfortunately, their last visit ended horribly! They got trapped in a bad rain/thunderstorm and lost a lot of their very important equipment. They travel and investigate places for people, usually on their own dime. Never asking for payment, only suggesting donations if possible. They do these investigations because they enjoy it and they do an amazing job! This is the same group that came and investigated the James last September and their discoveries were released to the public at the James’ Poe reading night, which brought a lot of awareness to the James Memorial Art Center. They need our help now! We will be serving hotdogs and hamburgers for donations until we run out. This is an event you definitely won’t want to miss! Open to the public! All proceeds from the Live Art Auction will benefit the James Memorial Art Center and all the proceeds from the BBQ will benefit PIND. Come support the James and PIND. If you would like to volunteer to help with this event or to provide goodies to sell at the BBQ, please contact Shawna in the office at 701.774.3601 or email us at jmps@nemont.net
