Williston Area Chamber of Commerce Names New President

The Williston Area Chamber of Commerce (WACC) has named Rachel Richter Lordemann as the organization’s new President, effective April 26th. Richter Lordemann has served as the Member Relations & Communication Manager for the WACC since May 2017.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to grow my career with the Williston Area Chamber of Commerce,” said Richter Lordemann. “I look forward to serving my hometown and will work hard to advocate for our members and continue to unite our business community.”

Richter Lordemann is a Williston native, and a graduate of the University of North Dakota (UND) with a Bachelor of Business Administration with majors in Marketing and Management. While attending UND she held internships with Williston Economic Development and the Williston Convention and Visitor’s Bureau and has also worked with the Williston Parks & Recreation District. She is also involved in the Williston Community through the Miss North Dakota Scholarship Organization and the Williston Lions Club, among others.

“After conducting a national search, the board is pleased to have found the best candidate close to home,” said Dr. Audrey Kalil Chair of the WACC Board of Directors. “Rachel has a strong track record at the chamber and a deep knowledge of the needs of our membership and the Williston community. These traits, combined with her academic background, make Rachel uniquely qualified to take the reins as President. The board is confident in Rachel’s proven leadership and communication capabilities and will provide support as she transitions to her new role. Please join us in welcoming Rachel as the Williston Area Chamber of Commerce’s new President.”
