Mission statement:
To determine and develop best practices for attracting and retaining talent to businesses in the Williston area as well as help facilitate recruitment events
objectives:
To gather input from a representation of our membership base in a variety of industries to best advocate for solutions to workforce issues and develop programs and/or events whether on our own or with strategic partners to fulfill workforce needs
The Workforce Committee strives to advance workforce attraction in the Williston area, to find ways to help member businesses recruit and retain, and to work with Job Service ND in coordinating bi- annual job fairs.
Issues/Challenges Presented: Childcare, managing expectations, interview etiquette, unemployment benefits, and other issues as they arise
Potential Initiatives/Events: Job fairs, job postings on website, educational workshops, and others as they arise
