Western Star Foundation thanks you for your interest in board service.

We know that those with an interest in being a leadership volunteer have many choices. In our community, there are an array of remarkable organizations engaged in the important work of making our world a better place. We are humbled to know that you are interested in our organization.

  • The Western Star Foundation facilitates and supports sustainable solutions for educational initiatives and leadership, professional, and workforce development for Williston Area Chamber of Commerce members and the Williston community. 

  • There are currently two open seats. Western Star Foundation Board Directors serve two, two-year terms.

    Seat 3: Term Start December 2025, Term End December 2027. Eligible for a Second Term, December 2028 to January 2030.

    Seat 4: Directors in this seat would fulfill the second two-year term, serving until November 2026.

    • Williston Area Chamber of Commerce member in good standing (individual or employer)

    • Desire to support all Chamber members, the entire business community, and the region as a whole to foster growth

    • Attend monthly meetings

  • Applications will be reviewed at the monthly Board meeting. The Western Star Foundation meets the first Tuesday of every month.
