Agriculture committee

Mission statement:

To promote local agriculture and agriculture related member businesses through advocacy, activities and events. 

objectives:

Keep up to date on local, state and federal regulations and rules that affect agriculture member businesses.  Proactively advocating on behalf of the agriculture community.  Recommend policy and positions to the Board of Directors  

  1. Increase visibility of agriculture and ag related member businesses to both consumers and the wider community. 

The Agriculture Committee strives to advance local agriculture and agriculture related member businesses. This group recommends policy and positions of the Chamber on the local, state and federal levels.

This committee volunteers and assists at local agriculture related events. This committee assists in dispersing pertinent information from Chamber member businesses to their targeted consumers via educational events, email blasts or social media.
