Mental Health First Aid (MHFA)
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) teaches you how to identify, understand
and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among adults.
You will build skills and confidence you need to reach out and provide initial support to those who
are struggling. You will also learn how to help connect them to appropriate support.
After the course, you will be able to:
Recognize common signs and symptoms of mental health challenges
Recognize common signs and symptoms of substance use challenges
Understand how to interact with a person in crisis

Junior Market Lemonade Day
You learned all you could in Lemon University and in conjunction with the Lemonade Day curriculum, it’s time to put it to the test with Junior Market! We are kicking off our 10th year Anniversary with a Junior Market Lemonade Day, where it will be the largest vendor show for kids, by kids. You are not going to want to miss this one. There will be a limited amount of space.

NonProfit Bootcamp
Join the Williston Area Chamber of Commerce (WACC) and Northwest North Dakota Community Foundation as they present Leap Into Leadership, an exclusive free event provided by the NonProfit Bootcamp.
As leaders in your organization, you face multiple challenges, all while trying to keep up with fundraising and marketing trends that may affect your ability to raise money; attract new customers, clients, and donors; and create an impact.
The WACC is grateful to be able to provide the NonProfit Bootcamp free of charge to our members. Co-founders, Patrick Kirby and Sami Bedell-Mulhern will be leading a one-hour workshop exclusively for our local community. During this workshop you’ll learn:

The Women in Leadership (WiL) Expo is a regional event highlighting women in leadership while inspiring all women, no matter their stage of life and career. This year (2023), we are focusing on the significance of personal branding - from how you present yourself to how you speak to being confident in you.
