This exciting new initiative celebrates and supports the incredible non-profit organizations serving Western North Dakota.

The agriculture industry is robust across North Dakota, and Williams County and northwestern North Dakota are no exception! The Farm to Table dinner is an opportunity to bring the agriculture industry and the community together to engage, learn, eat, drink, and be merry!

The evening will feature remarks from Michele Payne. Michele connects farm and food, brains, and behavior. As a community catalyst, she has worked with farmers in more than 25 countries and raised millions of dollars for 4-H and FFA. She also foudned AgChat and FoodChat on “X” (formerly Twitter) and is an author of three books: Food Bullying, Food Truths from Farm to Table, and No More Food Fights!

This dinner offers the public an interactive (and delicious!) way to learn about the expansive agriculture industry around them and the importance of those fields and pastures that span the region, seeing first-hand their impact on every meal plan, every trip to the grocery store, and every bite .

Lemonade Day Junior Market is when our young entrepreneurs use everything they have learned from our Lemon University Program to create their very own lemonade stand! It is an opportunity for kids to showcase their unique business models and flex their talents in creative ways.

Didn’t attend Lemon University? No problem! Kids are encouraged to set up a stand and put their entrepreneurial skills to the test (and make a little cash for the summer!).

No lemon is the same! Kids are encouraged to think outside the box and put their own twist on the traditional lemonade stand.

Junior Market will take place at 12pm on May 17th, 2025 at the Raymond Center.

Our Lemon University participants attend three courses through the beginning of 2025 to learn about a wide array of topics, including financial literacy, marketing & branding, communications, and even how to assemble a stand of their own — all from community partners who are experts in their fields. Participants are equipped with the tools and skills needed to have a successful Lemonade Day. It is our second year rolling out this educational component to Lemonade Day, and we want are excited to provide this amazing learning experience to Williston!
